No audio output device is installed5/1/2023 ![]() Please download MiniToolBox, save it to your desktop and run it. "No souncard" usually means "no drivers." ![]() It seems that after the windows update something has switched off inside the PC so that no audio device is being detected. ![]() ![]() I did not find any "onboard sound device " on BIOS. Before the update,I had never used Realtek on this computer.Īnother site says that NVIDIA audio devices are not compatible with windows 10 update and we must enable onboard sound device in BIOS. I have also tried installing the generic audio device with the same code 10 error. I have tried installing realtek through device manger but it says code 10 error. When I click on sound and check playback,it says no audio device is installed. There is no audio from the front and rear sockets either. ![]() Yes I have checked it, it doesnt seem to be on mute. The reason I ask these questions is not to insult you but because you seem to have checked all the obvious problem areas and audio is not a sub-system that gives many problems. A couple of other idiot level things to check - are your speakers connected to line/audio out and are you getting any audio through the front (or rear) headphone socket ? This may be a stupid question, but it has been said that the only stupid question is the one you don't ask ! Have you checked that your speaker mute switch isn't set to 'Mute' ?įrom your mobo you have a desktop. ![]()
